Dr. Thomas began his medial career in Canada where he trained and practiced for 21 years. During that time he worked as a consultant in both British Columbia and Alberta and was the medical director for W.O.R.C. (Western Occupational and Rehabilitation Clinic)

In 1995 he moved to Arizona where he started to work in the east valley in private practice combining the best in Canadian and American medicine. Since moving to Arizona Dr. Thomas has been the Chairman of Surgery at the Chandler Regional Hospital and was one of the creators and founders of the Arizona Spine and Joint Hospital.

In 2010, with over 35 years of neurosurgical experience, Dr. Thomas was voted one of the “Top Docs” by Phoenix magazine.
